Lebara is a Vodafone MVNO (mobile virtual network operator), which means that it should have identical 4G and 5G coverage to Vodafone – and that’s good news, because Vodafone’s coverage is extensive.

Lebara also sells SIM Only plans with unlimited data, and you have the choice of a flexible 30-day rolling one, or a cheaper per month 12-month one. In both cases you’re also getting unlimited minutes and texts, but that’s not all, so below we’ve detailed everything you need to know about Lebara’s unlimited data SIM Only plans.

Is roaming included?

Yes, Lebara lets you roam across the EU at no extra cost, and even in India, and while it does have a 30GB monthly roaming limit, that’s more generous than the terms on a lot of networks.

Are there any speed restrictions?

No, Lebara won’t restrict your speeds, even on unlimited data plans, so you can use as much data as you want at full 5G speeds.

Are there any fair usage restrictions?

Lebara has no real fair usage restrictions in the UK, other than stating that the service is for “your legitimate, private, personal and domestic use.”

Lots of networks do have fair usage limits for unlimited data, so this is a perk of Lebara.

What other benefits are included?

Lebara’s unlimited data SIM Only plans also give you 100 international minutes to call over 50 destinations from the UK with each month, so they're great if you have friends or family abroad.

Lebara also offers tethering, Wi-Fi Calling, and 4G Calling.

What other networks should you consider?

Since Lebara has the same coverage as Vodafone, you might want to look at Vodafone itself. This network is less internationally focused and often charges more, but you can also get a variety of perks with its plans, like a subscription to Disney Plus or Amazon Prime.

You might also want to consider Asda Mobile, Talkmobile, or VOXI, all of which also share Vodafone’s coverage – and those last two are actually run by Vodafone.
